Requirements to becoming a Member

PROFESSIONAL MEMBER

1.     Adhere to the Code of Ethics as set forth by the AAPH

2.     Have completed 2 years of herbal studies and a minimum of 50 clinical hours, or have a minimum of 12 years experience as a practicing herbalist.

3.     Submit three collegue references

4.     Complete a minimum of 20 hours of continueing education per year

5.     Submit a one time application fee of $50.00 and an annual professional membership fee of $120.00 (pro-rated if sign up is during the year - January 1 is the first day of the membership year)

Once your application has been excpeted and approved, an invoice via email will be sent to you and payment for your professional membership may be made via PayPal.  Membership information and benefits will be mailed to you upon verification. 

STUDENT MEMBER

1.     Enrolled in herbal studies of a reputable school

2.     Submit two character references

3.     Submit a one time application fee of $50.00 and an annual student membership fee of $70.00

ASSOCIATE MEMBER

1.     Submit a one time application fee of $50.00 and an annual associate member fee of $50.00
