Benefits of Membership

PROFESSIONAL MEMBER

A Professional Member, in good standing, has the following rights and privileges:

1. Eligible to attend and vote at Annual General and Special General meetings;

2. Eligible for election to the Board of Directors subject to the requirements of Article VIII;

3. Will receive an official Alberta Association of Practising Herbalists professional membership card and certificate.

4. Will have the right to use the name of Alberta Association of Practising Herbalists, its acronym, logo, other trademarks, symbol or identification.

5. To have his or her name included on the list that is provided to those insurance companies and other third party payers that pay directly or reimburse insured clients’ claims for eligible members’ services; - currently unavailable

6. To participate in the professional liability insurance program and other group rated insurance plans and benefits which the AAPH obtains for its members (subject to approval of the insurer); - currently unavailable

7. Discounts on AAPH sponsored conferences and continued competency workshops.

STUDENT MEMBER

A Student member has the following rights and privileges:

1. Attend Annual General and Special General meetings, but does not have the right to vote or be eligible for election; and　

2. Will receive an official Alberta Association of Practising Herbalists student membership card.

3. Discounts on AAPH sponsored conferences and continued competency workshops.

ASSOCIATE MEMBER

An Associate member has the following rights and privileges:

1. Will receive an official Alberta Association of Practising Herbalists Associate membership card.

2. Discounts on AAPH sponsored conferences and continued competency workshops.
